MY STORY

            Chosen Swan Photography is a queer female owned photography business that captures memories with elegance, grace, and precision. CSP founder, Jess, is a social worker by day and memory recorder by night/weekend. Jess completed her Master's degree in Social Work in May of 2023, after working towards this goal since 2014. Jess specializes in substance use disorder and mental health treatment. She loves to create and be in the world of photography!

             Chosen Swan Photography's namesake honors the founder's late mother, Mardell Erickson, who had an innate love of swans. Mardell taught her daughter that life can be as simple as a moment caught on film- and to cherish those moments. Especially the ones spent laughing- Mardell loved to laugh and was known for bringing light and love to any room she entered. Her memory will live on through every captured image that CSP creates...Let me be the person to catch those moments for you!
